Providing a unique national platform to tackle the COVID-19 crisis and aftermath by mapping needs with resources
When our team members Varsha, Shreya and Vignesh were stuck in Assam during the 2019 floods, they experienced the helplessness that comes with being locked inside your home. The idea to create an on-the-ground coordinated effort to prevent an unequal allocation of resources is inspired by this experience.
The idea of one volunteer for every 20 members of the population addresses the COVID-19 situation well wherein social distancing is must.
We believe that the ratio of 1:20 will enable a volunteer to move only an average of 50 m, ensuring that he/she comes into contact with only the necessary number of people while helping with resource sharing.
